Do you have a great kit idea? Do you currently have kits on the market? Great! We want to be your fastest and least expensive source for getting your products to market. We now offer several options for in-house kit manufacture. You can to choose among basic cutting services, vinyl decals, custom manufacture of balsa/plywood/carbon fiber accessories and complete turn-key manufacture/packaging. Because we offer all the products you could need to assemble your kits at terrific prices, the added cost of shipping from many sources will go away!

All the options you could possibly need - we can accommodate any size order no matter how large or small. If you simply need foam cut, we can do that. If you want a finished kit that is bagged/boxed with accessories (carbon wheels, props, batteries/motors, etc), instructions (printed or on a CD), we can do that too.

Raw materials: Because RCFoam™ is able to source your raw materials for you at wholesale rates (to qualified members), you can save a bundle on the materials. You also save the added cost by not shipping from multiple sources to get your kit together.

- XPS Foam: Depron, Gediplac, Cellfoam88, Dow Bluecor, Gatorblank & Selitac, various thicknesses

- EPP Foam: 1.9#, 1.3#, 1.0#, various thicknesses

- Carbon Fiber: Rod, Tube, Strip & Plate, various sizes/lengths

- Wood: Balsa, Basswood, Birch Plywood

- Powered Accessories: Batteries, Motors, ESC's and more, if you spec something different - we'll get it.

Printing/Graphics:

- We have partnered with local print shop to give you an option for vinyl graphics

- Want UV or other applied inks? Let us know and we'll make it happen.

Equipment: We have an 80 Watt CO2 Laser that can handle up to a 35"x47" sheet of foam, plywood or whatever you want cut. We have a professional CNC router that runs with 3D CAD/CAM software that can handle up to a 49" x 97" sheet, up to 6" thick. We can cut in 2D or 3D relief. This could include milling of Depron for competition designs that need the best possible design for strength and weight. We can carve 3D shapes in great detail. This could include rounded fuselages, nose cones or anything you can dream up! If you want your logo or company name to actually embedded/carved into the foam - no problem. Need a big sign made for your next show, we can do that too! In addition to foam, carbon and wood routing, we can also form in other types of materials that are used for signage, plaques, furniture, etc.

Design requirements: Your designs are your property. We accept designs in any major image file format. If you have them already prepared in a DXF or DWG format, the setup time and costs will be less. A $25 set up fee for completed DXF or DWG designs is typical. Other image file formats will be quoted.

RCFoam™ has CAD/CAM staff with over 17 years of experience. We'll ensure your design is produced to your exact requirements every time. Guaranteed! Because the equipment is located at RCFoam and run here by our staff, you are free to call or stop in and discuss the process anytime.

Prototyping:  Once your design is programmed in, we'll cut you a single prototype and return it to you for your approval. Once approved, we will provided the fastest turn around for your order. We have no minimums, but the larger the order, the better the price.
